The study concludes that the Eastern, Western, and Italian Fronts all had competent German corps commanders conducting operations; no Front had a preponderance of successful commander’s to the detriment of the other two.

An Important and Informative Study

Major French Maclean has authored an important study that provides tremendous insight into the German Army's corps commanders in World War II. This study examines all aspects of their background and presents statistical information on this important group of Army officers. Highly recommended for WWII historians and those interested in the Wehrmacht and its leadership.

Not bigraphies of "second line" generals-Full of statistics in very difficult to read charts in a Kindle.I can t reccomend this book.
